| There are currently over 300 groups in the region: choral groups, instrumental groups and chamber music promoters. |

| - Making Music provides a comprehensive range of artistic and administrative services and training opportunities and fulfils a lobbying and advocacy role for members throughout the United Kingdom. |

| - Making Music, [The National Federation of Music Societies, a company limited by guarantee, Registered in England no. 308632 and Registered Charity no. 249219] is the largest association of amateur music makers and promoters in the United Kingdom, and embraces traditional classical choirs, orchestras and chamber music promoters as well as opera companies, barbershop groups, gospel singers, jazz bands and handbell ringers. |
